The relationship dynamic is partners-in-crime and romance-driven in ways the franchise has previously kept at arm's length. Press coverage called it a Bonnie-and-Clyde setup long before Rockstar did; the phrase entered Rockstar's own mouth only in August 2026, when narrative SVP Rupert Humphries described GTA VI to Dazed as "a Bonnie and Clyde-type narrative". The Extended Look lets you "play as a couple, or go off and cause chaos independently".
