Ray Machowski
Ray suspects his old partner is talking to internal affairs. Claude takes a Predator boat to Portland Rock, ambushes him on the lighthouse run, and sinks the rat.
Gone Fishing is a mission in given to Claude by corrupt police officer Ray Machowski from a public bathroom in Belleville Park, Staunton Island, Liberty City.
Machowski tells Claude that he thinks his partner is a rat so he wants him eliminated. He instructs Claude to drive a Predator in Callahan Point over to Portland Rock where his partner is usually seen fishing. As Claude arrives, he finds that Machowski's partner is in a boat containing explosive barrels, fishing the "redneck way" by throwing grenades into the water and killing dozens of fish at once. The partner spots Claude and attempts to flee from him.
Claude chases him around Portland Harbor, trying to destroy the partner's boat and avoiding the explosive barrels he drops in an effort to stop Claude. The partner will continue around a set path, but after the player fills the damage meter above half, the partner will break from his usual path and beach the boat on Portland Beach. If Claude is close to him when this happens, the partner will run to the nearby Supa Save! supermarket, where he will enter a Sentinel and attempt to escape. However, if Claude is further behind when the boat is beached, the partner will wait on shore for Claude and begin shooting at him. Eventually, he might again run towards the supermarket, but will stop at the trailers leading to the car park and won't continue. After Claude guns him down, the mission in completed.
