Roman Bellic

Vlad orders Niko to steal a police car for a heist setup. Niko bumps a cruiser, takes it from the cop, and outruns the LCPD pursuit before delivering the car to Vlad.
Crime and Punishment is a mission in given to protagonist Niko Bellic by his cousin Roman Bellic in front of the Perestroika nightclub in Hove Beach, Broker, Liberty City.
Niko Bellic receives a frantic phone from Roman Bellic imploring him to meet him at Tulsa Street. Niko arrives to find a Roman hiding inside a dumpster, terrorized after Niko killed Vladimir Glebov. Niko tries to reassure him by saying that the Russians don't care much for Vlad at all. Suddenly, Roman gasps and ensconces himself back into the dumpster as Andrei appears from behind Niko and knocks him out with the butt of an Assault Rifle. Andrei asks Roman to come out, banging the dumpster with the butt of the rifle. Roman comes out slowly with his hands in the air as Andrei points his rifle at him. "The boss wants a little chat", he says.
Niko regains consciousness, tied to a chair in the basement of Mikhail Faustin's house, to discover Dimitri Rascalov and Andrei standing before him. Dimitri slaps Niko to wake him up, and points to a Roman tied up and gagged, saying "We had to gag him to stop the screaming". Dimitri walks off, and Andrei grabs a hacksaw, asking Niko who he works for. When Niko says he works for Roman, Roman flinches in terror. Andrei, dissatisfied with his answer, threatens to cut his arm off if he doesn't say the truth. Niko makes a facetious remark which results in Andrei hitting him in the forehead with the tip of the saw and slapping him.
Suddenly, Faustin descends the stairs, angrily telling them to stop making noise as his wife is watching television. Faustin, bewildered, asks Andrei what he's doing. Andrei hesitantly says that he's finding out who he is. Faustin asks who he is and he responds that he's Roman's cousin. Faustin isn't happy with such little information yet so much noise. When he asks Dimitri "Where did you find this idiot?", Dimitri replies that he was a friend of his sergeant in Vladivostok. Faustin approaches Niko and asks him, rhetorically: "''Do you think it's O.K. to kill my employees?*" Niko responds "If he's an asshole, yes."
Mikhail suddenly shoots Andrei in the forehead in cold blood. "I agree''", he says, amid Roman's muffled frenzy of indignation. "''Asshole look at me like I'm a piece of shit''", he tells an outraged Dimitri in justification. He returns to Niko and agrees that Vlad was an "idiot" and that the only value he saw in him was his sister he had an affair with. Faustin spares Niko on the condition that he starts working for him. Niko’s first task is to steal a van full of television sets so he can make a sale. Niko asks that Roman's gag be removed, and Faustin accedes to his demand. Dimitri unties his gag, resulting in Roman starting to scream for help. Mikhail shoots him in the stomach to stop his frenzy. Dimitri entreats him to "stop shooting people". Dimitri advises Niko to get the televisions as soon as possible - "''Or I will personally pull your cousin's stitches out, one by one, and watch his guts spill onto the floor" threatens Faustin. Dimitri reassures Niko that they will "*take care''" of Roman and tells him to acquire a police car, before untying him loose.
