The design of the Bati 801 draws heavily from the Ducati 848 and Ducati 1098, with the tail fairing and seat bearing a resemblance to those of the Ducati Desmosedici RR, but it maintains the tail lights of the 848/1098 and lacks the top-exit exhausts. The lower fairing seems to have taken inspiration from the MV Agusta F4, while the exhausts appear to be influenced by the BMW HP2 Sport.
