The Gresley is primarily based on the 2011–2013 Dodge Durango, many attributes of which were seemingly carried over, including the suspension stance, lower bumpers, the cabin and windows, badging on the rear hatch, and overall vehicle shape. A few design cues appear to have been taken off of the second generation Kia Sorento as well, including the headlights and frontal fascia. The tail lights are similar to the first generation BMW X6, and the rear end resembles a Toyota Land Cruiser (J200).
