While the design may seem entirely original, the Hot Rod Blazer incorporates numerous features from the Perry Watkins "Wind-Up" car, including a similar paint job, a faux blower, a windscreen, and the entire rear fascia. The front of the vehicle appears to draw inspiration from the classic "T-bucket" style commonly associated with hot rods.
