The Toreador is evidently based on the Lamborghini Marzal concept car, seen in the wedge-shaped profile, narrow front end, greenhouse area, and four-seat layout, with some influence from other 1970s cars. The rear fascia and louvers are taken from the Lamborghini Urraco, but with maintaining the rear mesh from the Marzal. The lower part of the car seems to be taken from the Lamborghini Espada. The Toreador's door handle shape seems to follow the shape of the Espada's side vents. The front bumper and subsequently the rear bumper, which is a copy of the front one, may be taken from the Aston Martin Bulldog. The headlights may have drawn inspiration from the BMW 2200 TI Garmisch concept, while the tail lights are a direct copy of those found on the Alfa Romeo Alfetta GT.
