The Police Rancher is essentially a police variant of the Rancher XL, used by the North Yankton State Patrol. The SUV shares the same design and features as the regular version, but is covered in snow in the upper surfaces, bumpers and windows. The roof has two antenna and a square-shaped lightbar with six rotating halogen emergency lights on it. Like the snowy variant of the Rancher XL, the vehicle does not feature a defroster rear window, and has a rear compartment handle not present on the regular version.
The SUV is only available in a white color with NYSP markings around, consisting of gold and blue stripes down the side, "STATE PATROL" on the front fenders and the emblem emblazoned on the front doors, as well as "Trooper of the year 1951" markings on the rearmost sections of the sides. It uses the same wheel design as the snowy variant of the Rancher XL, being a derivative of the "Raider" off-road rims seen in Los Santos Customs, fitted with tire chains to improve control while driving on snowy surfaces (however, this is purely cosmetic). These tire models are shared with the Police Rancher's civilian variant.
