The Pounder's main cabin and chassis design is similar to that of the real life International Harvester, and draws some inspirations from other Mack trucks. The cab looks almost identical to the Mack CH613 with some similarities to the International 9000.
The Pounder is a box truck equivalent of the Packer and the Flatbed, sharing the same front and cabin. The rear section mainly consist of a cargo box with red/white warning stripes on the sides, large metallic cargo doors on the rear end and circular tail lights derived from most semi trucks, along with a rear guard that is similar to the Flatbed and most towable trailers. The Pounder is also fitted with a CB radio, and occasional trucker chatter can be heard regardless of whether the main radio is turned on or off. The chatter will only play if playing as Trevor and in Blaine County.
The Pounder can spawn in a limited variety of single colors for the cabin, while the cargo box may have either a Rob's Liquor or a Big G Goods livery on the sides. It uses a set of industrial wheels also shared with the Flatbed and the Packer.
