Big Smoke
Big Smoke wants a Vagos dealer dead and his cash collected. CJ and Smoke chase the dealer on foot through the back streets of East Los Santos and corner him in an alley.
Running Dog is a mission in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas given to protagonist Carl Johnson by Grove Street Families member Melvin "Big Smoke" Harris from his home in Idlewood, Los Santos, San Andreas.
Carl goes to Smoke's house. Upon arriving there, he finds Officer Frank Tenpenny and Officer Eddie Pulaski leaving. Smoke informs Carl that they are attempting to extract information from him. Smoke tells CJ that his cousin Mary is coming to the town from Mexico and he's going to pick her up and get challenged to a cousin by these gangster Vagos.
The two drive to a place to meet two Vagos gang members, with Carl realising what they're really there for. After a short mixed Spanish conversation, Smoke knocks one out using a baseball bat while the other runs away. Carl is tasked with chasing down and killing the Vago, who will run between buildings and over fences to try and lose Carl. Two Vagos members outside E-W Liquor will start shooting at Carl as he gets near. If the escaping Vago is not killed in time, he will enter a Sentinel as a passenger, and Carl has to get another vehicle and chase him down. The Sentinel starts off driving randomly, but if the mission is still not completed after three minutes, the Vagos will start driving towards Las Colinas, where a short cutscene will play showing the Vago exiting the passenger side of the car and running away on foot, failing the mission.
