The Learjet appears to be a spiritual predecessor to the GTA San Andreas rendition of the Shamal, appearing as a small commercial and/or private jet that, as its in-game model name suggests, its based on the Learjet, a series of private jets. The plane appears with tail-mounted engines and tail stabilizers.
Despite being replaced by the Shamal, the static prop model seen in GTA Vice City (ap_learjet) is still included in the GTA San Andreas internal files as a leftover, as well as the Airtrain.
