Based on 1950s and 1960s car designs, the front end is based on Dodge's 1961-1962 corporate grille, used on every model except the Lancer. The two-tone paint scheme was inspired by the 1955 Oldsmobile 88, and the back resembles that of a 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air.
This mirrors the design of the Glendale, which uses the rear from 1961 Dodge Polara, with the 1956 Bel Air front fascia.
