The Cuban 800 is mainly based on the 1954–1959 Cessna 310B, having a nearly identical fuselage, landing gear system, engine nacelles, and wing tanks. The tail of the plane is slightly different, and it appears to be based on the Piper PA-23, with the vertical stabilizer being modeled after the Piper Seguin Geronimo. The paint job also mirrors that of the PA-23.
