The overall design of the Monroe is heavily inspired by the Lamborghini Miura, bearing the distinctive aerodynamic shape and the chromed skirts. The side vents and rear engine vents are also inspired by this. It also shares some elements with the Ford GT40, notably the headlights and the relatively wide shape. The front grille and the fog lights are most likely inspired by the ones found on the Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 Series I or the Dino 206 GT/246 GT. Some elements of the rear fascia and the tail lights are reminiscent of those from the 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray.
