The Mule resembles a fifth-generation 1985–1987 Mitsubishi Fuso Canter, more specifically the FB433 model, as evident by the double, circular headlights, ridge on the doors following the headlights, and overall appearance, as well as the 1990s Mitsubishi Fuso Fighter/FM series, with some additional styling cues from the fifth-generation Isuzu Elf N-Series and the fourth-generation Hino Ranger.
