The pistol is depicted numerous times in the September 2022 leaks, used as the default handgun for both Lucia and Jason, as well as numerous pedestrians, including VCPD and VBPD officers and members of gangs (such as San4San). In numerous clips, the weapon is shown to be referred to as PISTOL_POLYMER in the game files. In one clip, the HUD refers to the pistol as the "Polymer Pistol", confirming its current in-game name.
The pistol can be seen on the table Boobie Ike is sat at in an official screenshot. Lucia can also be seen holding one at her cheek in another screenshot, where the "9mm" caliber marking can be seen, along with a serial number (KL1701). This variant also lacks the front slide grip. Finally, Brian can be seen handing one over to Jason in another screenshot.
