The Linerunner is a semi-truck featured in most games.
The Linerunner is designed as a typical American standard cab-styled semi truck resembling a Kenworth W900L. Its name is most likely a parody of Freightliner.
The truck remains largely similar throughout its appearances, having a large front bumper with the license plate in the center and square indicators on either side, as well as a long nose with large fenders, rectangular headlights and an air filter on the driver side. The bottom features large access steps and large fuel tanks, while the cab features large mirrors on the doors, a trumpet horn on the roof, long exhaust stacks and the extended driver's cab quarter, with a single rear-facing window. The rear section mostly consists of the main chassis with a set of trailer cables above, the tail light units and the license plate. Depending on the game, there are minor cosmetic changes between each model: *In GTA III and GTA: Liberty City Stories, the truck has a rectangular front bumper and a shorter pointed grille, while the hood/nose is slanted and pointed, and the front fenders mount single rectangular headlights. The front of the cab features a single windshield, while the extended driver's cab quarter has various sections simulating compartments. The rear of the truck features large fenders above the rear wheels, and a set of upper red and lower white tail lights on the rear end, along with a license plate on the passenger side. The truck spawns in a variety of primary colors applied to most of the bodywork. *In GTA: Vice City and GTA: Vice City Stories, the truck's front bumper has angular shapes on the outer edges, and the grille is tall and flat, while the hood/nose is rectangular in shape. The fenders also appear to be straighter in shape on the rearmost portion, while the front uses a set of dual square headlights. The front of the cab features a split windshield, while the extended driver's cab quarter features silver/white trim on the rear and bottom sections, as well as numerous compartments and side marker lights. The rear section remains largely similar to the GTA III model, but adds a set of mudflaps on the rear, a metal panel texture below the trailer cables, and an actual trailer platform over the chassis. Again, the truck spawns in a variety of primary colors applied to most of the bodywork. *In GTA: San Andreas, the truck remains largely identical to the GTA Vice City model, but the front bumper is finished in silver and features smaller indicators and a vented detail in the center, also relocating the license plate slightly below. The grille and hood/nose are also similar in shape, but the silver detail has been relocated to the top edge of the grille. The front fenders are also similar to the GTA Vice City model, but the outer edges have marker lights. The front of the cab features a split windshield with wipers and additional marker lights on the roof, while the extended driver's cab quarter has fewer compartments and side marker lights. The rear of the truck features a red chassis with the tail lights and license plate on the rear end, while a set of mudflaps cover part of the wheels. The details above the rear portion of the chassis remain the same, albeit with the functionality of tow trailers. The truck spawns in a variety of primary colors applied to most of the bodywork, as well as the air filter.
