The FH-1 Hunter (formerly named "Hunter") is a military gunship attack helicopter featured in the games since GTA: Vice City (with the exception of ), and later featured in GTA Online.
In all of the Hunter's appearances, both in the 3D and HD Universes, it is largely based on the Boeing AH-64 Apache helicopter, sharing its overall profile, canopy layout and the characteristic "X" shape of the tail rotor.
In Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and GTA: Vice City Stories, the Hunter is an aesthetically correct AH-64A, while in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, the helicopter is pretty much the same, but with a different rear rotor and different canopy entrance.
In the first appearance of what is presumed to be the Hunter in GTA V, it appears to remain closely inspired by the AH-64 Apache, but with certain elements taken from the Boeing–Sikorsky RAH-66 Comanche, as seen in the canopy design, horizontal engine vents, Fenestron tail rotor, and the two tiny vertical stabilizers. The finalized FH-1 Hunter in GTA Online continues its influence from the Apache and Comanche with little visual changes.
