12 New GTA 6 Screenshots: Every Game Informer Image, and What Each One Reveals
Rockstar released 12 new GTA 6 screenshots with Game Informer's cover story, and they are not on Rockstar's own website yet. Here is every one, from the Sahara Arena at night to a storm over the Keys, alligators under a swamp dock and Jason on a chopper, with the details worth spotting and what Game Informer confirmed about each.
There are 12 new GTA 6 screenshots, and if you went looking for them on Rockstar's website, you will not find them. They came out on September 29 with Game Informer's 14-page GTA 6 cover story, carry Game Informer's watermark, and as of September 30 Rockstar's own media library still lists the same 99 screenshots it has had since August.
So here they are, all 12, with what is in each one, the details worth zooming in on, and what Game Informer's reporting confirms about what they show. We have also added the full set, in 1920 x 1080, to our GTA 6 screenshots gallery, where they now sit at the top.
1. Downtown Vice City and the Sahara Arena
The first one Game Informer published, and the most striking: downtown Vice City at dusk, seen from above the bay. Searchlights sweep up from a lit arena, a Ferris wheel turns on the waterfront, boats sit in a marina, a plane comes in over the towers and a helicopter hangs over the water.
The detail: zoom in on the arena and the sign reads Sahara Arena. That is Vice City's version of Miami's Kaseya Center, home of the Heat, and it lands in the same month Rockstar paid Miami-Dade County close to $1 million to put "Welcome to Vice City" on the real arena's roof. The marina and Ferris wheel beside it mirror the Bayside waterfront next to the real building.
2. A Grassrivers wetland at sunrise
Game Informer used this one to illustrate its wildlife story, and it is crowded: an alligator low in the water on the left, a pink roseate spoonbill taking off, a white-tailed buck splashing through the reeds, a white crane with a red crown in the foreground, wood storks on the right and flocks of birds across the sky.
What Game Informer confirmed: Leonida has "over 170 animal species across land, air, and sea, several of which have never appeared in a Rockstar Game." Native animals such as flamingos, manatees, pelicans and alligators "will coexist alongside invasive creatures such as green iguanas, cane toads, feral cats, and even rhesus macaque monkeys," with the aside: "Yes, Florida has monkeys." Rockstar is also giving animals "iridescence, bioluminescence, translucency, and feather types, plus new hair and fur systems for coats and pelts," and you can "track certain animals categorized as Rare, Discoverable, and Legendary," whose identities are being kept secret.

3. A storm over the Keys
A seaplane cuts across the Leonida Keys in sunshine, while behind it a dark storm front has already reached the coast, with two lightning bolts hitting the horizon.
What Game Informer confirmed: this is the weather system working as described. Leonida has "dynamic cloudscapes," and "localized storms, meaning you can occupy a dry, sunny area and spot storms in the distance where it is actually pouring down." Drive there after it passes and "you'll be able to tell it just rained thanks to persistent puddles and other wet surfaces," and "under the right lighting conditions, you can even spot rainbows following a fresh shower." And yes, Leonida gets "tropical storms and seasonal hurricanes," although Game Informer adds, "we don't know how often these larger, more violent storms occur or how they affect gameplay and storytelling."

4. Jason and Lucia at the beach
The quiet one. Jason and Lucia lie on striped sun loungers on a packed Vice City beach, Lucia pointing at something on Jason's phone, while a man in board shorts runs past waving an American flag and a yellow lifeguard tower stands in the background.
Why it matters: downtime is part of the game. Rockstar has said Jason and Lucia's relationship is something you can lean into or not, and the Game Informer story lists hikes and other activities as dates. More in our piece on how the GTA 6 relationship system works.
5. Jason on a chopper
Jason, face hidden behind a patterned bandana and wearing a patched biker's jacket, rides a chrome chopper with a pistol drawn, while men pour out of a roadhouse behind him.
The detail: he is wearing a patched biker's jacket, and the men running out behind him look like bikers too. Put it next to the biker bar in screenshot 6 and a biker storyline or mission set looks likely, though Rockstar has not described one.
6. The biker bar
A bearded biker with sunglasses pushed up on his head stands in a neon-lit bar with a woman's arm around him, while other bikers lean over a pool table behind them.
The detail: one of the patches on his vest reads "Final Chapte...", cut off at the edge of the patch, and there is a neon pin-up sign on the wall. Billiards is on the activity list reported from Game Informer's story, so that pool table may well be playable.
7. Jason and a baseball bat
Jason stands in a small shop with a baseball bat over his shoulder, next to a cash register with money in the drawer, while a man lies on the floor behind him. The shelves are full of decorative plates and there is a carved tiki figure by the counter.
Why it matters: it is a stick-up, and it fits what the Extended Look showed of small-scale robberies. Our GTA 6 heists and robberies explainer covers every kind of score shown so far.
8. Lucia with a rifle
Lucia, masked with a pink bandana, crouches behind a barrel with an assault rifle, watching a group of men at a pickup truck in a floodlit industrial yard.
Why it matters: Lucia is not the getaway driver. She is as armed as Jason in almost every official image, and this one puts her on overwatch while the deal happens.
9. A hunter on an ATV
A man in a cap sits on an ATV at the edge of a forest stream with a scoped rifle, finished in a red and black camo pattern, slung on his back, watching two deer drink.
What we know: Game Informer confirms you can track animals classed as Rare, Discoverable and Legendary. It has not described hunting as a system in anything published outside the magazine, so treat this screenshot as a very strong hint rather than a confirmation.
10. Alligators under a swamp dock
Night in the swamp: two men stand on a ramshackle dock outside a lit shack, one of them shirtless, while several alligators swim in the black water below.
The detail: count the gators. Several are visible in the water, and nobody on the dock seems worried, which in Leonida is either confidence or foreshadowing.
11. A crop duster
A crop-dusting biplane sprays low over a field while people below shield their faces. A water tower stands in front of a distant skyline, and a white pickup marked Tucker's is parked in the grass, next to empty crates.
The detail: it looks like a job, not an accident: the crates and the truck suggest a farm operation, and the spraying plane is flying far too low for comfort. The Tucker's branding is new; we could not find it in any earlier official image.
12. A waterfall hike
Hikers cross a wooden footbridge beside a waterfall, one of them walking a dog, in dense forest with birds overhead.
Why it matters: hiking is one of the date activities Game Informer lists, alongside base jumping, kayaking, mini golf, scuba diving, zoos and more. It is the clearest official look yet at Leonida's non-crime side.
