GTA 6 Has Working Buses and Trains, Rockstar Tells Edge
Rockstar's Phil Hooker describes testing bus arrivals and riding across Leonida in Edge's new GTA VI preview.

GTA VI will let players travel using working bus and train systems, according to Edge's October 29 cover feature. Rockstar head of development Phil Hooker describes regularly boarding buses during testing and checking that they arrive when expected.
A passenger's view of Leonida
Hooker says he has memorised the bus routes and often interrupts a play session to reach his destination by public transport. His account describes riding across Leonida and watching the surroundings, rather than merely seeing buses in traffic.
Aaron Garbut also mentions spending a day travelling by train as an example of the quieter activities available alongside crime and missions.
What the report does not establish
Edge does not provide a complete route map, fares or service intervals. It also does not establish whether players can skip passenger journeys. Those details remain open.
