GTA 6 Wallpapers: Every Official Artwork in 4K, All 19 Rockstar Pieces Plus the New Game Informer Cover
Rockstar's GTA 6 media library holds 23 artwork and wallpaper files: 19 unique pieces in up to six formats, from 3840x2160 desktop to 5120x2160 ultrawide and 2160x4800 phone. Here is every one in release order with the details worth spotting, the right size for your screen, how to download them officially, and the new Game Informer cover art that is not in the library yet.

Rockstar's official GTA 6 art has been arriving faster as launch gets closer, and on September 25 a new piece turned up outside Rockstar's own website: the Game Informer cover of Jason and Lucia in a bullet-riddled pink convertible. If you want these as wallpapers, you do not need a fan site or a compressed Reddit upload. Rockstar hosts every official piece itself, in 4K and in up to six formats for desktop, ultrawide, phone and tablet.
We downloaded the whole library to check. Rockstar's Artwork & Wallpapers page lists 23 files, which is 19 unique artworks: four of them also come in a version with the GTA VI and Rockstar logos. Here is every piece in the order it was released, what to look for in each one, and which file to grab for your screen.
How to download GTA 6 wallpapers from Rockstar
Go to rockstargames.com/VI/media, open Artwork & Wallpapers, and either click a piece to pick a size or use Download All for the full zip. Rockstar's own pitch for the page is "Download and share trailers, imagery, and more."
Most pieces come in six sizes. Here is what each file is and what it fits:
| Format | Resolution | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Landscape | 3840 x 2160 | 4K and 1440p monitors, TVs, laptops |
| Ultrawide | 5120 x 2160 | 21:9 ultrawide monitors |
| Phone | 2160 x 4800 | Modern phones (20:9) |
| Portrait | 2160 x 3840 (some 1080 x 1920) | Vertical monitors, older phones |
| Tablet | 3840 x 3840 | iPad and Android tablets (crops cleanly either way) |
| Square | 2160 x 2160 | Profile pictures, smartwatches, social posts |
A few quirks from the files themselves: the four "with logos" versions come in only three sizes (landscape, portrait and square); the Official Cover Art, Beach, Robbery and Album portraits are 1080 x 1920 rather than 2160 x 3840; and Jason and Lucia 02 has two phone versions, framed differently. The Album cover is the only full piece with just three sizes. The complete zip is 225.7 MB.
The same media page also carries 99 screenshots (a 72 MB zip), 51 Ultimate Edition and 12 Vintage Vice City Pack screenshots, 3 trailers and 9 short clips. You can browse all the screenshots on our GTA 6 screenshots page.
The newest piece: the Game Informer cover (September 25, 2026)
Game Informer revealed its Issue 382 cover on September 25, with cover artwork by Rockstar Games, and TheGamer called it "arguably" the best GTA 6 artwork so far. It is hard to argue. Jason and Lucia sit in an open pink convertible on the waterfront, with the Vice City skyline, a Ferris wheel and a yacht across the water behind them. Jason holds a pistol up with one hand and a loaded magazine in the other. Lucia, in a red bandana, has a pistol resting on her knee.

The small details are where it gets good:
- At least seven bullet holes stitched along the side of the car.
- A bag of cash in the passenger footwell, with loose bullets on the floor next to it.
- A helicopter, which you only see as a reflection in the car's paint, next to the bullet holes.
- An iguana climbing the palm tree on the far left. Iguanas also appear in the Robbery art.
- Seabirds over the water, a motif that runs through most of the Jason and Lucia pieces.
It reads as a sequel to The Album's cover from a week earlier, which also puts the pair next to a car with bullet holes at sunset. VICE made the same connection, calling the magazine cover "a continuation of the Grand Theft Auto VI soundtrack vinyl artwork." For what is inside the magazine itself, see our Game Informer cover story breakdown.
This piece is not on Rockstar's media page yet. VICE pointed out that "not every artwork they've released for Grand Theft Auto VI has been uploaded to their gallery yet," and the Artwork & Wallpapers count was still 23 on September 29. For now the largest version we have found is Game Informer's own 1920 x 1246 reveal image.
Every official GTA 6 artwork, in release order
Jason and Lucia 01 (December 5, 2023)
The first GTA 6 artwork, released with Trailer 1. Jason and Lucia sit on the hood of a silver classic car on an Ocean Drive-style strip of Art Deco hotels, Jason with a pistol in hand. Look at Lucia's ankle: she is wearing an ankle monitor, a nod to her prison backstory. For a year and a half this was the only official artwork of the two leads.

Jason and Lucia 02 (May 6, 2025)
The Trailer 2 artwork. The pair step off a boat onto a dock with guns drawn, Lucia carrying a metal case, while a police boat cuts across the bay, a helicopter hangs over the skyline and an egret stands in the shallows. This is the piece with two phone versions: one wide, with a lot of sky, and one close-up.

Jason and Lucia Motel (May 6, 2025)
The quiet one. The two lounge on a motel bed, Lucia with a pistol in her lap, next to a duffel bag with cash spilling out of it. GTA Wiki identifies the room as the Starlet Motel.

The six character portraits (May 6, 2025)
Trailer 2 also brought one artwork for each of the six supporting characters Rockstar introduced on its website, each set in a location tied to them:
- Cal Hampton, beer in hand on the bow of a boat under a Keys bridge.
- Boobie Ike, champagne glass in hand inside a strip club, which GTA Wiki identifies as his Jack of Hearts.
- Dre'Quan Priest, sitting on an SUV outside the Jack of Hearts, phone in hand.
- Real Dimez, Bae-Luxe and Roxy on a rooftop above a neon Ocean View Hotel.
- Raul Bautista, in a white suit with a duffel bag, in front of a mural.
- Brian Heder, leaning over a map in his boat yard, with bricks of product, a knife and a box of ammunition on the table.

Want the story behind each of them? Our character profiles cover Cal Hampton and Dre'Quan Priest, and Brian's voice actor was confirmed this month.
The six "Visit Leonida" postcards (May 6, 2025)
Six region postcards, each an in-game view dropped onto a postcard with "Visit Leonida" in the corner: Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga National Park. They are the only pieces in the set built from game imagery rather than illustration, and they make the cleanest desktop wallpapers because there are no characters in the way. Our Leonida map guide explains where each region sits.

Official Cover Art (June 18, 2026)
The box art, revealed with the pre-order date. It follows the classic GTA panel layout: Jason and Lucia, a helicopter, a speedboat with a flamingo, Raul with a rifle, a woman in a teal football jersey, a supercar, an alligator, Boobie Ike and a wheelie on a motorbike past a police car. We decoded every panel in our cover art breakdown.

Jason and Lucia Beach (summer 2026)
Jason and Lucia in an embrace on the beach at dusk, Lucia's hand on the pistol at Jason's chest. It was in Rockstar's library by June 30, 2026, per GTA Wiki's file records. Zoom in on Jason's shoulder: the tattoo is a skull in a beret over a parachute, with a "Marauders" banner and "B Co" underneath, a military unit-style tattoo that fits Rockstar's description of Jason's "stint in the Army."

Jason and Lucia Robbery (August 6, 2026)
The key art for the Extended Look announcement. The two pull bandanas over their faces as they walk away from a Xero gas station at sunset, pistols out, a muscle car waiting with its door open. Lucia's top reads "BADDIE." There is an iguana on the forecourt here too. More in our breakdown of the robbery art.

The Album Cover Art (September 17, 2026)
The newest piece in Rockstar's library, made for Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album. Jason and Lucia lean on a bullet-holed car in front of the skyline, under a neon "The Album" logo. It only comes in three sizes, and it is the piece the Game Informer cover picks up from eight days later.

Which GTA 6 wallpaper should you use?
- For a desktop or TV: the Vice City or Leonida Keys postcard (no characters cut off at the edges), or Jason and Lucia 02 in the landscape crop.
- For an ultrawide monitor: Jason and Lucia 01 or the Beach art. Both were composed with enough sky and skyline to survive 21:9.
- For a phone: use the 2160 x 4800 phone versions rather than cropping a landscape file yourself. Jason and Lucia 02 gives you two framings to choose from.
- For a lock screen with the logo: use one of the four "With Logos" versions in portrait.
