GTA 6: The Album Is Official: 34 Tracks, 6 Singles Out Now, and a $125 Liquid Vinyl Sold Out in Minutes
Rockstar has announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, 34 original tracks with Atlantic Records arriving November 19. Six singles from Travis Scott, Keith Richards, Morgan Wallen, Future and more are streaming now, and the $124.98 limited vinyl with liquid-filled discs sold out in minutes and is already tripling on eBay.
Two days after ten artists posted GTA 6 artwork within hours of each other, Rockstar has said what it was all for. Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album is real: an official soundtrack album of 34 original tracks, made with Atlantic Records, releasing November 19, 2026, the same day as the game. Rockstar announced it on the Newswire and on X on the morning of September 17 (the X post went up at 12:05 UTC) and put the first six singles on streaming services at the same time.
The physical side is where things got out of hand. A $124.98 limited-edition vinyl, pressed on two transparent magenta discs filled with blue liquid, sold out within minutes on Rockstar's own store in the UK and Europe, and by the afternoon eBay listings were asking more than triple the retail price for a record that does not ship for two months. Here is everything that is confirmed, what you can listen to right now, and where you can still order the vinyl tonight.
The six singles you can stream right now
Rockstar describes the album as "34 original tracks that capture the electric energy of Vice City and Leonida, from a genre-defying artist roster." Six of them are out today on Spotify, Apple Music and the other major services, and the lineup matches the September 15 tease artist for artist:

That is a Daft Punk producer on a Travis Scott record, Future and Metro Boomin guesting on a Yung Lean track, and a Rolling Stone cutting a blues standard for a video game, all on day one. Richards' track is a cover of Jimmy Reed's 1961 "Bright Lights, Big City", as Rolling Stone notes, a song the Stones themselves recorded in their earliest days. The remaining 28 tracks are unannounced. Vice notes that Rockstar has not said when the full tracklist will be revealed, and Rockstar's own post says the album is available to pre-save on all major streaming services in the meantime.
What "The Album" actually is
This is not the in-game radio, although Rockstar tied the two together. Its announcement, as quoted by Digital Music News, says The Album "will arrive alongside the next evolution of the in-game radio stations, dynamic score, and musical touchpoints that have long anchored the series." That is the first official confirmation that GTA 6 has a dynamic score, and the first hint that the radio is changing, though Rockstar gave no detail on either. The Album is a separate, original record: new music made for the game and released as its own product through Atlantic, the way big film soundtracks get their own albums. Whether and how these tracks also play inside Leonida, on a station, in a club or over a story beat, is something Rockstar has not explained yet.
The $125 liquid-filled vinyl, and why it sold out in minutes
Three physical editions, which Rockstar and Atlantic describe as "three Atlantic Records exclusives," went up for pre-order on the official album store at launch:
- Limited-Edition Vinyl, $124.98 (£108.99 in the UK): two transparent magenta discs filled with blue liquid, with exclusive artwork and packaging.
- Standard Vinyl, $49.98 (£44.99): two transparent magenta discs with blue splatter.
- CD, $19.98 (£10.99): full album with a booklet in a jewel case.
The limited edition is the collector's item, and it went the way collector's items go. GamingBible reported that it "sold out within a matter of minutes of going live," and Dexerto scoped that to Rockstar's store for UK and European buyers. GamingBible's verdict on the price was blunt: "It's a ridiculously high price tag considering that the vinyl's only unique selling point is a different disc and artwork design."
One thing worth knowing if you missed it: as of 9 PM UTC on September 17, the limited edition was still listed as available at $124.98 on the official US-facing album store, gtavi-thealbum.com, alongside the standard vinyl and CD. Stock there can obviously change by the hour, but the Europe sellout has not yet emptied every shelf.
It is already flipping for triple on eBay
Within hours of the sellout, GamingBible found the limited edition on eBay at £312.70 from a UK seller, £385.57 from a US seller and £313.87 from a seller in Italy, roughly three times the £108.99 retail price. Every listing uses placeholder images, because nobody will have the record in hand until November 19. As the site put it, "it's impossible to verify whether a listing is legitimate."
Do not pay it. The album does not ship for two months, retailer-exclusive variants are still on sale, and the same pattern played out with GTA 6 pre-order scalping earlier this year: early panic prices, then plenty of stock. If you want the liquid-filled discs specifically, check the official store first and keep an eye on restocks.
Where else to buy it
Rockstar and Atlantic spread exclusive colour variants across retailers, per Complex and NBC:
- Blood Records (UK): a pink 2LP with blue and purple splatter, £39.99, sold as a time-limited pre-order for one week only, with an exclusive 12x24 poster. Ships November 19.
- Best Buy: a clear pink vinyl with purple splatter and an exclusive 12x24 poster, per Kotaku.
- Walmart, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Urban Outfitters and independent record stores carry their own variants, with Target also reported among the retailers.

No game disc, but a double vinyl
Kotaku's framing of the day was hard to argue with: GTA 6 itself has no physical disc, the boxed edition ships a code, and yet the soundtrack is getting a real CD and two vinyl pressings. What this means for the September 15 tease
Every artist who posted artwork on September 15 now has a single, so the "coordinated campaign" reading was right and Travis Scott's "Phase 1" was the singles rollout. His caption's "J.O.H." line is still unexplained; nothing in today's announcement mentions the Jack of Hearts or any in-game role for Scott, so our decoder of that post stays a theory for now. What did change is the scale: the tease pointed at radio placements, and the answer turned out to be 34 original songs on a major-label album.
The timing was also a small vindication for anyone who ignored the trailer countdowns. The announcement came from Rockstar's own channels, with the X post landing 55 minutes before Take-Two's annual shareholder meeting opened, not from the meeting itself, exactly as we expected yesterday.
