New GTA 6 Screenshots: Jason and Lucia Covered in Mud, a Supercar Outside the Ocean View Hotel, and 3 Shots Rockstar Quietly Posted
Bloomberg's GTA 6 feature came with two new Rockstar images: Jason and Lucia caked in mud against a Walton L35 pickup, and exclusive art of a green supercar outside Vice City's Ocean View Hotel. Rockstar also put three new in-game shots on its music page on October 8. Here are all five, what is in each one, and where to see them in full.

There are new GTA 6 images, and you have to look in two unusual places to find them. Bloomberg's inside story on the making of GTA 6, published on October 14, carries two Rockstar images that weren't released anywhere else: Jason and Lucia covered in mud, and a piece of exclusive art Rockstar made for the magazine. And since the radio station reveal on October 8, Rockstar's official music page has been using three new in-game shots as backdrops.
None of the five are in Rockstar's own screenshot library, which still holds the same 162 images as before: 99 screenshots, plus 51 Ultimate Edition and 12 Vintage Vice City images. We've added all five to our GTA 6 screenshots gallery, where they now sit at the top, labelled by where they came from. Here is what is in each one.
1. Jason and Lucia, covered in mud

The standout is a game still of Jason and Lucia splattered with mud from head to toe, leaning against a battered red pickup with a light bar and roof lights. Jason wears a backwards cap, denim shorts and a camo tank top printed with "Show Me Your Mudflaps," and holds a bottle of beer. Lucia has braids, yellow-tinted sunglasses and a camo crop top with matching shorts, and holds a red can.
The badge on the truck's door reads L35 Walton, a pickup name GTA Online players already know. Behind the couple, dirt mounds and more lifted trucks point to a mud bog or off-road meet. It is also a neat fit for the story Bloomberg tells about the game: Rockstar spent years making sure Jason and Lucia can hang out together in the open world, not only in missions, as we explain in our Bloomberg breakdown.
2. A supercar outside the Ocean View Hotel

The second image is the one Bloomberg labels as exclusive art Rockstar created for Businessweek, and it is the only portrait-shaped image in the set. A green mid-engine supercar sits at the curb under the pink neon of the Ocean View Hotel, while a helicopter hovers low and points a searchlight down the street.
The details are worth zooming in on. The car wears a Leonida plate decorated with oranges and the Goodtime State slogan, and lettering across its tail appears to begin "GRANFO," though the rest is cut off. The hotel is a name Vice City veterans will know: the Ocean View was Tommy Vercetti's first safehouse in the 2002 game, and its sign has already turned up in GTA 6's official screenshots and artwork, which we catalogued in our official artwork guide.
3. A wet night outside the Hotel Dixon

The other three images come from Rockstar's GTA VI music page, which went up with the radio station reveal on October 8. Most coverage focused on the six stations, but the page also uses three full-width in-game shots as backdrops, and they are in 4K.
The best of them is a rain-soaked street of neon Art Deco hotels at night. An orange supercar sits beside a row of scooters, a police SUV waits with its lights on, and the neon of the Hotel Dixon and its neighbours spills across a huge puddle in the foreground. It is one of the clearest looks yet at wet roads and neon reflections, which fits what Rockstar has said about storms and weather in Leonida.
4. Gridlock below the Vice City skyline

This one is a traffic jam on an elevated highway heading into downtown, packed with everyday cars: SUVs, a green sports car, a taxi with an advert on its roof, a pickup, a red convertible, a cement mixer and a delivery truck. Beyond the barrier there is a golden dome by the water, a speedboat on the bay and the downtown skyline, including the pair of curved towers seen in earlier screenshots. It is the main header image on Rockstar's music page.
5. A night car meet at the Conch King

The last is a high-angle shot of a crowded car meet in a strip-mall parking lot at night. Cars glow with underglow, dozens of people mill around, and there is a thatched-roof stand and a lit Conch King sign. Car culture runs through a lot of what Rockstar has shown, down to the two mod shops in the Ultimate Edition, and this is one of the busiest crowd shots it has released.
Where new GTA 6 images are turning up
The pattern this autumn is clear: Rockstar is spreading new images through partners and its own web pages rather than adding them to its screenshot library. There were 12 with Game Informer's cover story on September 29, four with LOVE magazine in early October, three on the music page on October 8, and two with Bloomberg on October 14. If that holds, the next new look at Leonida is as likely to show up in a magazine or on a Rockstar web page as in its official gallery, and we will keep adding them to ours.
Bloomberg's two images are 2000 pixels wide, the size Bloomberg published them at. The three music page shots are full 4K. All five open at full size in the gallery, with the source credited on each.
