GTA 6 Editions: What Tiers to Expect (Standard to Collector's)
GTA 6 editions have not been announced yet. Here is the Standard, Deluxe, and Collector's Edition pattern Rockstar has used before, and what each tier usually includes.

GTA 6 editions have not been officially announced by Rockstar Games, so there is no confirmed Standard, Deluxe, or Collector's Edition yet. Based on how Rockstar packaged Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2, a tiered lineup is the most likely outcome: a base game tier, a mid tier with digital extras, and a higher tier (sometimes a physical Collector's Box) with merch. Treat everything below as a labeled expectation, not a confirmed announcement.
What's confirmed about GTA 6
The only hard facts come from Rockstar's trailers and Take-Two:
- Release date: November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
- Dual protagonists Jason and Lucia, set in the state of Leonida (a Florida analogue including Vice City).
A PC version has not been confirmed by Rockstar. Based on the studio's history (GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 both reached PC many months after their console launches), a later PC release is widely expected, but Rockstar has announced no PC version, window, or details. Pricing, edition tiers, pre-order dates, and any bonus content are not confirmed either. Rockstar had not opened pre-orders or revealed an edition lineup at the time of writing. For the running list of verified details, see the GTA 6 hub.
The Standard / Deluxe / Collector's pattern (expected)
Rockstar's last two major launches followed the same three-tier shape. That history is the clearest guide to what GTA 6 editions are likely to look like.
Grand Theft Auto V (2013) shipped with:
- Standard Edition at $59.99: the full game.
- Special Edition at $79.99: a collectible steelbook, a printed blueprint map of Los Santos and Blaine County, and in-game extras (a special-ability boost, stunt plane trials, bonus outfits, extra weapons).
- Collector's Edition at $149.99: everything in the Special Edition plus a logo cap, a security deposit bag with a logo key, and exclusive in-game vehicles.
Red Dead Redemption 2 (2018) used four tiers:
- Standard Edition at $59.99.
- Special Edition at $79.99: story-mode content (a bank robbery mission, a gang hideout), a physical world map, and in-game boosts.
- Ultimate Edition at $99.99: the Special Edition content plus bonus outfits, a horse, and online rank bonuses.
- Collector's Box at $99.99: physical merch only (no game), packed in a lockable tithing box with a challenge coin, a bandana, a puzzle, and playing cards.
The likely GTA 6 mapping, not confirmed: a base Standard tier, a mid Deluxe or Special tier carrying digital extras, and a top Collector's tier with merch.
What a GTA 6 Collector's Edition might include (speculation)
If Rockstar follows its own template, a GTA 6 Collector's Edition would lean on physical merch tied to Leonida and Vice City. Past boxes included steelbooks, printed maps, caps, coins, and themed accessories. Apply that pattern to GTA 6 and you would expect Vice City-styled items and possibly in-game vehicle or cosmetic bonuses for the higher digital tiers. None of this is announced, and any specific item list circulating now is a rumor or fan prediction, not a Rockstar reveal.
Pricing expectations (not confirmed)
Take-Two's leadership has publicly discussed a $70-$80 range for current-generation Standard editions in general, which lines up with the wider industry move to a $70 base price. That is the most-cited expectation for a GTA 6 Standard Edition, but Rockstar has not confirmed a price. Deluxe and Collector's tiers would sit above that, following the GTA V and RDR2 jumps to roughly $80 and $100-$150.
When editions will be revealed
Edition tiers and prices typically land with pre-orders, not before. For GTA V and RDR2, Rockstar announced editions on the Newswire in the same window pre-orders opened. Expect the GTA 6 edition lineup to drop alongside the pre-order announcement. Until then, anything labeling specific tiers, prices, or bonus items as final is unverified. Keep an eye on the GTA 6 hub for confirmed updates.
