GTA 6 Merch and Collectibles: What to Expect

Searching for GTA 6 merch and collectibles now turns up real products. As of September 29, 2026, Rockstar sells two editions of the game and, since September 24, its first GTA 6 merchandise: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection, a $399.99 collector's box that does not include the game. Here is what is official, and what past launches suggest might follow, with confirmed facts kept apart from speculation.

What Rockstar Has Officially Confirmed

The hard facts about GTA 6 are narrow. Rockstar Games has confirmed a release date of November 19, 2026, on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, a $79.99 Standard Edition and a $99.99 digital-only Ultimate Edition. The boxed Standard Edition is a download code, not a disc; Rockstar has confirmed there is no disc version at launch. Boxed copies ship, or are available for in-store pickup, from November 12.

That code-in-a-box edition is the only physical version of the game itself. Rockstar has confirmed pre-orders (open since June 25, 2026), two edition tiers and their prices, and the Vintage Vice City Pack pre-order bonus. Everything else official is merchandise and accessories: Rockstar's $399.99 Vice City Collection (every item is in our Vice City Collection guide), Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album on vinyl and CD, and Sony's two limited-edition GTA 6 DualSense controllers at $84.99. There is still no collector's edition that includes the game, so any listing that claims to bundle one is speculating or a scam. What Past Rockstar Collector Editions Included (Expectation, Not Confirmed)

History is the best guide here. None of the following is confirmed for GTA 6, but it shows the pattern Rockstar has followed.

For Grand Theft Auto V in 2013, Rockstar sold three tiers:

• Standard edition with the base game.
• Special Edition (USD $79.99): collectible SteelBook case, a fold-out blueprint map of Los Santos and Blaine County, and in-game extras.
• Collector's Edition (USD $149.99): everything in the Special Edition plus a custom Security Deposit Bag with a logo key, a New Era 9FIFTY snapback cap, and exclusive GTA Online content.

For Red Dead Redemption 2 in 2018, Rockstar went further with a Collector's Box (sold separately, game not included) that contained a metal tithing lockbox with key, a challenge coin, a double-sided wooden jigsaw puzzle, illustrated playing cards of the main gang, a 150-page in-game catalogue replica, enamel weapon pins, and cigarette cards.

Rockstar's June 2026 editions reveal covered Standard and Ultimate only. The stand-alone collector's box arrived on September 24, and it followed the RDR2 template: merchandise only, game sold separately, but at $399.99 rather than $99.99.

GTA 6 Collectibles and Editions: Rumors vs Reality

Multiple insider reports and retailer leaks claimed GTA 6 would ship in several edition tiers, including a high-priced collector's edition with console bundles. Rockstar's actual lineup is two editions, Standard at $79.99 and Ultimate at $99.99, with no collector's edition of the game itself; the $399.99 Vice City Collection is merchandise only. Treat any collector's edition price or console bundle floating around as speculation until Rockstar posts it on the official Newswire.

What Rockstar actually put on sale: a $79.99 Standard Edition, a $99.99 Ultimate Edition with premium vehicles, weapons and apparel, and the Vintage Vice City Pack in-game bonus for every pre-order and every digital purchase before November 20, 2026 (physical pre-orders while stocks last). Rockstar has not announced a SteelBook, a printed map or any other physical extra for the boxed copy. More is coming: Rockstar's September 24 announcement says to "look out for the arrival of more apparel and collectibles from the Grand Theft Auto VI Collection at the Rockstar Store soon." Rockstar even handed staff exclusive GTA 6-branded gift items in 2024, though those were never sold publicly.

When to Expect Official GTA 6 Merch Details

Rockstar revealed the edition contents and opened pre-orders in June 2026, five months before launch, and the first merch wave followed on September 24 with the Vice City Collection. With a November 19, 2026 date locked, watch the official Rockstar Newswire and Rockstar Store for the rest of the "Grand Theft Auto VI Collection" Rockstar has promised. Until then, be wary of any "GTA 6 collectible" listing from third parties.
