From May 13 to November 19 is exactly 190 days. r/GTA6 has built rituals, megathreads, replay marathons and a strict no-leaks rule around the wait. Here's the anatomy of the countdown.

Trailer 2 is twelve months old. The community is still re-watching every frame. Stripping out the speculation, here's what Rockstar has actually shown about Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval.

Take-Two Interactive reports its fourth-quarter and full-year fiscal 2026 results on Thursday, May 21, with a conference call at 4:30 PM Eastern. That call covers the quarter ended March 31, 2026 — the last fiscal year before GTA 6's scheduled November 19 launch. The subreddit knows. r/GTA6 has spent the last week reading every public Take-Two schedule entry, every press wire, and every analyst note like a Talmudic text.
Here's what's actually on the docket. And here's what would qualify as real news on the morning of May 22.
The basic facts are public and small:
That's it. Take-Two's pre-call communications haven't telegraphed any GTA 6 content beyond the standard "we'll discuss our pipeline" language that every quarterly release uses. The company hasn't said a trailer is dropping. It hasn't said pre-orders are opening. It hasn't said a single thing that the most-hyped game in a decade hasn't already had said about it on every other quarterly call going back two years. None of that has stopped the subreddit, but it should temper expectations going in.
The last six Take-Two earnings calls all touched GTA 6, but the touches have followed a pattern:
That last one matters. In an interview with The Game Business following the February call, Zelnick said:
"You know me pretty well, for me to even say we've got marketing beats coming this summer is a huge departure from what I usually say, which is that our labels will make marketing announcements."
For anyone who has tracked Zelnick's media discipline over the last decade — he is, by industry standards, almost surgical about not pre-committing — the February quote is one of the more substantive comments he's ever made about a Rockstar marketing window. The May 21 call is the first scheduled Take-Two appearance since.
Four recurring threads dominate r/GTA6 right now. None of them are confirmed. All of them will be watched closely on the 21st.
Trailer 3 timing. The dominant subreddit hypothesis: a trailer drops within two weeks of an earnings call where Zelnick says "imminent" or "soon" or, ideally, a specific date. Trailer 2 launched May 6, 2025 — five days after a delay announcement at the May 2025 call. The fan-math holds that a similar pattern in May 2026 would land Trailer 3 in the last week of May or first week of June. None of that is sourced. All of it is pattern-matching.
Pre-order opening. Retailers in the UK and Europe spent April quietly updating storefront placeholder pages for GTA 6. The community read it as a sign that pre-order infrastructure is being prepped on the back end. What the community hasn't seen: a Rockstar Newswire pre-order post. Pre-orders for GTA V opened roughly four to five months before launch in 2013. November 19 minus four to five months puts the window between late June and mid-July — after the May call, not on it.
Special editions and SKU pricing. Reddit's pricing speculation has been remarkably granular. The going assumption is a $70 standard SKU, an $80 to $100 deluxe with a season-of-content tie-in, and a collector's edition above $200. Take-Two has not confirmed a single one of those numbers. Zelnick has spoken in past calls about industry-wide pricing pressure but has not pre-committed to GTA 6 specifically.
The PC question. The most-asked single question on the subreddit. Rockstar has confirmed PS5 and Xbox Series X|S as launch platforms. PC is "to follow," with no date. The community wants a window. Take-Two has not given one. The May 21 call is unlikely to break that pattern — but if Zelnick says even "fiscal 2027" or "we expect a fiscal 2028 PC release," that's the first real signal in months.
Earnings calls are not, historically, trailer-drop venues. Rockstar drops trailers on Newswire. Take-Two reports financial results on earnings calls. The two events sometimes coincide — Trailer 2 in May 2025 dropped four days after the delay announcement — but the trailer itself was a separate Newswire post.
What earnings calls do deliver is forward-looking language. Zelnick is most-quotable in the prepared remarks and in the analyst Q&A that follows. The questions that historically yield the most GTA 6 signal are the ones about the fiscal 2027 outlook — because GTA 6 ships in Q3 of fiscal 2027, and the fiscal 2027 guidance Take-Two issues on May 21 will, by definition, contain implicit assumptions about the launch.
The two most-useful things to listen for, in order:
Anything beyond those two — a Rockstar trailer announcement from the CEO, a pre-order date, a special-edition SKU reveal — would be a genuine break from how this company has operated for the last decade. It's not impossible. It's just not what the playbook has done before.
By 9 AM ET on Friday, May 22, three things will be public regardless of what was said:
Whatever surprises happen will be in the second of those three. The community will spend the following 72 hours line-reading every word of the prepared remarks and every analyst Q&A exchange. Some of it will be over-interpretation. Some of it won't be.
For the actual confirmed-facts list as Rockstar drops them, the GTA 6 Launch Desk is updated continuously. The site doesn't carry leaks, doesn't carry rumors, and doesn't pre-announce anything that hasn't been officially announced. That includes whatever May 21 does or doesn't deliver.
The subreddit will be a different story. It always is.
