GTA 6's Confirmed Characters: Every Name Rockstar Has Given

Rockstar Games has put names to eleven GTA 6 characters across the two trailers, the official GTA VI site and the Extended Look. Eight have their own bio on Rockstar's site (Lucia, Jason, Cal Hampton, Boobie Ike, Brian Heder, Dre'Quan Priest, Raul Bautista and the Real Dimez); Lori, Bae-Luxe, Roxy and DWNPLY are named inside those bios. That is the whole officially confirmed cast.

When this page first went up in May 2026 it counted roughly 26 names by folding in leak-era and fan-wiki entries. This version lists only what Rockstar has published, in Rockstar's own words where possible.

Protagonists

Lucia Caminos

One of the two playable leads. Rockstar's bio opens with "Lucia's father taught her to fight as soon as she could walk" and introduces her fresh out of prison. She is widely described as the first female lead of a mainline GTA campaign; that is a reporting milestone, not a Rockstar claim. Shown and first named in Trailer 1 (December 4, 2023), where her first name is spoken in the prison scene; her full name and bio arrived with the Trailer 2 reveal on May 6, 2025. Voice actor not announced.

Jason Duval

The other playable lead. Per Rockstar's bio, Jason "wants an easy life", grew up around grifters and crooks, served in the military, and now runs product for Brian Heder while living rent-free on one of Brian's properties. Shown in Trailer 1; named with the Trailer 2 bios. Voice actor not announced.

How the two leads work together

The Extended Look (August 27, 2026) showed a selection wheel with Solo Jason, Solo Lucia and dual control, with an instant swap when the pair are together. Rob Nelson of Rockstar North told Famitsu that switching is "limited by story progression" in some missions. Single-player, not co-op. Music industry / nightlife

Boobie Ike

A "local Vice City legend", per Rockstar's bio, who turned his street days into "a legitimate empire spanning real estate, a strip club, and a recording studio": the club is the Jack of Hearts. Partnered with Dre'Quan Priest on Only Raw Records. Introduced with the Trailer 2 reveal. Voice actor not announced.

Dre'Quan Priest

Boobie Ike's partner in Only Raw Records and an aspiring music mogul. Rockstar's bio calls him "always more of a hustler than a gangster"; he booked acts into Boobie's club and has signed the Real Dimez. Trailer 2 bios.

Real Dimez: Bae-Luxe and Roxy

The Vice City rap duo signed to Only Raw Records, profiled together on Rockstar's site; their rise plays out on the in-game social feeds. Trailer 2 reveal. Neither member has a standalone bio.

DWNPLY

A rapper named in Rockstar's text without a standalone bio. Earlier versions of this page filed the name as unconfirmed; it is in Rockstar's own material.

Conspiracy / counterculture

Cal Hampton

Jason's friend and a fellow associate of Brian Heder's: a conspiracy-minded homebody who, per his bio, "feels safest hanging at home, snooping on Coast Guard comms". Trailer 2 bios. Rockstar has said nothing about which missions, if any, he hands out.

Leonida Keys / business owners

Brian Heder

"A classic drug runner from the golden age of smuggling in the Keys", per Rockstar's bio, who still moves product through his boat yard with his third wife, Lori, and lets Jason live rent-free at one of his properties in exchange for help with local shakedowns. Trailer 2 bios.

Lori

Brian's third wife, named only by her first name in his bio: the two run product through the boat yard together. No standalone bio, and Rockstar has not given her a surname.

Bank robber / accomplice

Raul Bautista

A "seasoned bank robber", per Rockstar's bio, always on the hunt for crew talent, whose recklessness "raises the stakes with every score". Trailer 2 bios; shown in the Extended Look.

Names that are not confirmed

None of these names appears in a Rockstar bio or Newswire post. Earlier versions of this page listed the names in the first two bullets as confirmed; where our characters database carries them (Wyman, Stefanie, Erin Henshaw and Phil Cassidy; Ric has no entry), it now tags them as leaked or speculation:

• Wyman, Stefanie, Erin Henshaw and Ric: no Rockstar source names any of them.
• Phil Cassidy: fan claims that an older Phil runs an Ammu-Nation business in Vice City do not trace to any Rockstar source, and Rockstar has named no returning character from earlier games.
• The woman who hires Jason and Lucia as private security in the Extended Look: fans have matched her to Valentina from GTA Online's 2025 Money Fronts update. The footage is Rockstar's; the identification is not.

Returning 3D / HD universe characters

No cross-game cameos have been formally announced by Rockstar, Phil Cassidy included. Fan wishlists for Vice City-era faces are wishlists; until Rockstar names one, none belongs on this page.

What we don't know

• Voice actors for any character
• Specific role mechanics (which characters give missions, which are story-only)
• Cross-game cameos of any kind; Rockstar has named none
• Whether more names are coming before the November 19, 2026 launch

Update log

• September 12, 2026: rewrote the page around the eleven characters Rockstar has named, using Rockstar's own bio wording. Removed the "Vice Beach" label, the invented "Boat Works & Marina" name and the wrong trailer-appearance claims. Moved Wyman, Stefanie, Erin Henshaw, Ric and Phil Cassidy to a "not confirmed" section, corrected DWNPLY to a Rockstar-named rapper, cut the leak-era name list, the speculative cameo list and the "leaked QA notes" section, and added the Extended Look switching details.
