GTA 6 Cars List: Every Confirmed Car So Far, All 155 With Official Evidence
The complete list of cars in GTA 6 that Rockstar has actually shown: 155 of them, including nine whose names Rockstar published or put on the car itself, with official images throughout. Built from first-party evidence only, with every leak-derived name flagged and the method laid out so you can check it.
This is every car in GTA 6 that Rockstar has actually shown us: 155 of them, from the '95 Grotti Cheetah to the police SUVs chasing Jason and Lucia down Ocean Beach. We went through Rockstar's own site copy and image descriptions, all 162 official screenshots at full resolution, both trailers, and every second of the Extended Look, and cross-checked the results against the GTA Wiki's full GTA VI vehicle catalogue, page by page.
One rule decided what made the list: the evidence had to be first-party. Rockstar naming the car, Rockstar showing the car, or the game rendering the car's name in Rockstar's own footage. Many GTA 6 car lists run longer than this one because they mix in names that exist only in leaked files. Those are flagged below, and we show which ones they are and why.

How we counted
Five tiers, from strongest evidence to weakest:
- Named by Rockstar (4). The car appears by name in Rockstar's own copy on the Grand Theft Auto VI site.
- Named on the car (5). Rockstar has not written the name anywhere, but the name is legible on the car itself, as a badge or lettering, in Rockstar's own screenshots or footage. We read each one ourselves at full resolution.
- Shown by Rockstar, model unnamed (4). In Rockstar's own edition artwork, with a legible maker badge or no badge at all.
- Identified from official footage (114). Visible in Rockstar's trailers, screenshots or videos, and identified by the GTA community, usually by matching the design and badges to models from GTA V and GTA Online. The car is real; the name is a strong community identification that Rockstar has not published.
- Shown, but the name comes from leaks (28). The car appears in official material, but the name attached to it on most lists traces to leaked files.
Names with no first-party evidence at all are listed at the end and not counted.
Named by Rockstar
'95 Grotti Cheetah
The Ultimate Edition's headline car. Rockstar's description, verbatim: "Grotti's signature mid '90s sports car and ode to Shore Drive, the '95 Grotti Cheetah is complete with a minimalist, retro-futuristic livery and available to punctuate later-stage action." Two details matter. "Ode to Shore Drive" is a nod to Vice City's oceanfront strip. And "available to punctuate later-stage action" suggests the car is unlocked, or at least most useful, later in the story rather than on day one.
'67 Vapid Dominator Buggy
Also an Ultimate Edition vehicle: a classic '67 Dominator, which is GTA's first-generation Mustang, lifted and rebuilt for the swamps. Rockstar's own image descriptions show it "driving through an off-road mud trail" and "pulling out of the Paradise Garage."
'55 Vapid Stanier
The Vintage Vice City Pack's car, a pre-order bonus: "the timeless two-tone '55 Vapid Stanier sedan and garage alongside the world-famous Ocean Beach." It is a '55 Ford-style sedan, and the Stanier name also appears in script on the car in Rockstar's screenshots. Don't confuse it with the modern Stanier sedan, which has no first-party evidence yet (see below).
Vapid Ganado, Jason's pickup
Jason's own vehicle, and the most story-relevant car Rockstar has named. The Ultimate Edition's Ganado Retro Build is described as a way to "inject some muscle and classic stylings into Jason's well-worn Vapid Ganado low-riding pickup," and Rockstar's own caption shows "Jason driving his Vapid Ganado, equipped with a yellow paint job and red racing stripe." A small bonus our OCR pass caught: the hood scoop in that screenshot is lettered 434ci, a 434-cubic-inch engine that fits the muscle-truck brief. The Ganado is also parked outside Jason's safehouse in Rockstar's safehouse screenshot.
Named on the car itself
These five names are not in any Rockstar copy. Rockstar modelled them onto the cars, and they are legible in its own screenshots and footage. We found them by running optical character recognition across every official screenshot and every second of the Extended Look, then confirming each hit by eye at full resolution. Three of them, the Deviant, the Sirius and the Riata, are not on the GTA Wiki's list of confirmed GTA VI vehicles at all.
Benefactor Schafter
A black Benefactor saloon in a parking garage during the Extended Look carries SCHAFTER on the boot lid, next to the Benefactor emblem and above an orange Leonida licence plate. The shape is a mid-2000s executive saloon, the E-Class of its era. The GTA Wiki lists a saloon of exactly that style from Rockstar's screenshots as an unnamed Benefactor; this badge suggests it is the Schafter.
Bravado Buffalo
During the Extended Look's circuit race, the #46 car in blue and green Lärss&Elbö livery has BUFFALO printed across the rear bumper. Its race-car proportions match the Bravado Buffalo that the wiki identifies in both trailers and in Rockstar's screenshots. The same frame also confirms 16-car fields and multi-lap races.
Deviant
The stars-and-stripes muscle car from the Ultimate Edition's Classic Car Collection, the side quest from the collector and fixer Wyman, has Deviant in script on its rear flank. GTA Online has a Schyster Deviant; Rockstar's image does not show a maker name, so we list it as the Deviant alone.
Sirius
The turquoise muscle car from the same collection is badged SIRIUS beside its tail lights. As far as we can find, Sirius is not a vehicle name from any previous GTA game, which would make it one of very few genuinely new GTA 6 car names you can read in Rockstar's own material.
Riata
The dusty beige off-roader with the sunset stripes carries Riata in script on its front fender. GTA Online has a Vapid Riata. Several lists call this car the "Riata Classic"; that fuller name traces to leaked material, while the Riata name itself is right there on the car in Rockstar's screenshot.
Shown by Rockstar, model unnamed
Four more cars appear in Rockstar's own edition artwork without a model name, and none is catalogued on the GTA Wiki's GTA VI list:
- A Canis off-roader at One-Eyed Willie's, the Ultimate Edition's off-road mod shop in Lake Leonida. The grille reads CANIS; no model name is visible.
- An Albany two-door at Rideout Customs, the Ultimate Edition mod shop for "donk stylings". Rockstar shows it stock on the lift and finished in gold flake on huge chrome rims, with Albany in script on the header panel and Albany's crown on the hood.
- A red #36 roadster in racing livery from Wyman's Classic Car Collection, with only sponsor decals.
- A pale green roadster on wire wheels from the same collection, wearing a blue R roundel from a brand we could not identify.
The full list: every car identified from Rockstar's footage
These 114 are visible in Rockstar's two trailers, its official screenshots or its official videos. The identifications come from the GTA community, mostly by matching designs and badges to existing GTA V and GTA Online models; "Unnamed" means the car does not match a known model and no name is visible. Each card says which kind of official material shows the car, and the images are crops of Rockstar's own footage and screenshots, via the GTA Wiki; tap one to see its source. Where every official image of a car is too dark, too small or crowded out by people to show it properly, the card says so instead of showing a misleading picture.

Shown by Rockstar, but the name comes from leaks
These 28 cars appear in Rockstar's trailers, screenshots or videos, so the cars themselves are confirmed. The names most lists give them, though, come from leaked files rather than anything Rockstar has shown, so each card describes the car by maker and type and flags the name.
This is the same trap we hit in our GTA 6 weapons list, where a pistol that circulated under a leak-derived name turned out to have an official Rockstar name of its own. Some of these 28 will certainly keep their familiar names. None of them is confirmed yet.
Names we excluded
These names appear on GTA 6 car lists, but we could find no first-party evidence for any of them. Their GTA Wiki pages are either flagged as sourced from leaked material or have no official image:
Alpha, Arcturus, Benson, Biff, DF8-90, Feroci, Ingot, Locust, Mamba GT, Minivan, Mixer (4-axle), Rebla GTS, Regina, Riata Classic, Rumpo Custom, Sabre GT, Sadler, Schafter LWB, Sheriff SUV, Stanier, Transgressor, Unnamed 6x6 conversion van, Unnamed Chrysler LeBaron Town & Country-style station wagon, Unnamed Honda Accord-style sedan, Unnamed Willard station wagon, Utility Truck (Contender-based), XLS, Youga, plus Chino Custom, Mule, Novak, Moonbeam, a SERA minivan and a Rolls-Royce Cullinan-style SUV, which are listed without any traceable official image.
Two notes. "Stanier" here means the modern sedan, not the '55 Vapid Stanier, which Rockstar named itself. And "Riata Classic" means the fuller name; the Riata itself is confirmed by its badge.
What the list tells us
- Leonida drives American. Vapid (GTA's Ford) leads with 28 cars, ahead of Bravado (Dodge and Ram) on 17 and Declasse (Chevrolet) on 15. Pickups, vans and SUVs together account for 39 of the 114 identified cars, more than any other type, which fits Rockstar's rural-Florida framing of Ambrosia, the Keys and Port Gellhorn.
- Muscle is back in a big way. There are four versions of the Dominator alone, before counting the Buggy, plus the Sirius and the Deviant from Wyman's collection.
- Car culture is a system, not set dressing. There are donked-out Impalers, Tulips and a Vapid in the footage, a dedicated donk shop in Rideout Customs, an off-road shop in One-Eyed Willie's, and an entire restoration side quest in Wyman's Classic Car Collection. - Racing is real. The Extended Look's circuit race runs 16 cars over multiple laps, in liveried touring cars carrying sponsor brands. See our driving and handling explainer.
Check our work
Every tier above is reproducible. Rockstar's copy and image descriptions are on the Grand Theft Auto VI site and its editions page. The official screenshots are on Rockstar's media page, mirrored in our screenshot library. For the wiki tiers, the GTA Wiki marks pages sourced from leaks with a leaked=y flag in the page source, and names its GTA VI images by origin, so a file containing OfficialScreenshot, Trailer or Videos came from Rockstar. We read all 269 pages in its GTA VI vehicle category through the wiki API and sorted them on exactly those two signals.
The bottom line
GTA 6 has 155 cars with first-party evidence so far. Rockstar has named four itself: the '95 Grotti Cheetah, the '67 Vapid Dominator Buggy, the '55 Vapid Stanier and Jason's Vapid Ganado. It has put five more names on the cars: the Benefactor Schafter, the Bravado Buffalo, the Deviant, the Sirius and the Riata. The rest are identified from its trailers, screenshots and footage, and every name that exists only in leaked files is flagged rather than counted. GTA 6 launches November 19, 2026, when the real list will be much longer, and we will update this one as Rockstar shows more.
Update log
- September 23, 2026 (update): replaced the car tables with image cards, one per car, using crops of Rockstar's own footage and screenshots via the GTA Wiki, and removed the Dinka Verus, which is a quad bike rather than a car. The count is now 155.
