GTA 6 Vice City Districts: Every Neighborhood We Know
GTA 6's Vice City districts explained: Ocean Beach, Little Cuba, the VC Port and more, with confirmed neighborhoods separated from fan speculation and Miami inspirations.

The new GTA 6 Vice City is the neon centerpiece of Leonida, and Rockstar has officially named several of its districts through trailers, screenshots, and the studio's own descriptions. Plenty more neighborhoods have been mapped by the community, but those are not the same thing as confirmed. This guide separates the Vice City districts Rockstar has actually shown from the GTA 6 neighborhoods that remain fan speculation, and ties each to its real Miami inspiration.
What Rockstar has officially confirmed about Vice City
Rockstar describes Vice City as "the sun and fun capital of America," capturing "the glamour, hustle, and greed of America in a single city." That language comes straight from the studio's May 2025 location reveal, which paired official screenshots with short written blurbs for six major areas of the map.
Inside Vice City itself, Rockstar named four specific places:
- Ocean Beach, defined by "pastel art deco hotels and bright white sands"
- Little Cuba, home to "bustling panaderías" (Cuban bakeries)
- The Tisha-Wocka flea market, known for its "bootleg brands"
- The VC Port, billed as a busy cruise and shipping hub on the coast
Everything in that list is confirmed. The names, the descriptions, and the screenshots all trace directly to Rockstar Games, which is the only standard the GTA 6 launch coverage holds itself to.
Ocean Beach and the beachfront strip
If GTA 6 has one signature image, it is the beachfront strip, and the first trailer opened on a sweeping shot of it. Ocean Beach is the upscale beachside district built around a palm-lined boulevard of Art Deco hotels, sidewalk cafes, and neon striping.
The real-world inspiration is no mystery: Ocean Beach is modeled on Miami Beach's Ocean Drive and the surrounding South Beach Art Deco Historic District. Outlets that compared trailer footage to the real street found buildings matching almost beat for beat, including streamline-moderne curves, raised lobbies, and horizontal banding. The original GTA: Vice City already nodded to this area, so the HD version reads as a faithful, far more detailed rebuild of the same coastline.
A quick note on naming: many fans call the broader beach area "Vice Beach," "South Beach," or "Washington Beach." Those labels appear on community maps, but Rockstar's own materials have only formally attached the name Ocean Beach to the strip so far. Treat the rest as likely but not confirmed.
Little Cuba and the cultural neighborhoods
Little Cuba is the confirmed cultural heart of inland Vice City, with its "bustling panaderías" pointing squarely at Miami's real Little Havana district along Calle Ocho. It is the GTA 6 equivalent of the Cuban-American neighborhood that defines a big slice of Miami's identity.
Fans widely expect a separate Little Haiti district as well, reflecting Miami's large Haitian community, and some community maps place it north of the core city. As of now that is fan speculation, not an officially named district. The same goes for a dedicated downtown financial core: the skyline is clearly visible in trailers, but Rockstar has not published a district name for it.
The VC Port and the working waterfront
The VC Port is the confirmed industrial and maritime side of Vice City, described as a major cruise and cargo hub. It anchors the working, grittier counterpoint to the glossy beach strip and is a strong candidate for missions involving smuggling, shipping, and heists. You can see the harbor cranes and docks in the released screenshots.
The Tisha-Wocka flea market, the fourth confirmed Vice City location, sits in this more everyday register too: a sprawling open-air market trading in "bootleg brands." It signals that Vice City will not be all luxury and neon, and that working-class commerce gets its own named space on the map.
Vice City vs the wider Leonida map
Vice City is one piece of a much larger state. Alongside the city, Rockstar confirmed five more major areas of Leonida (the GTA 6 stand-in for Florida) in the same reveal:
- Leonida Keys: a casual tropical island chain with loaded bars, deck chairs, and a detailed underwater ecosystem (sea turtles and colorful fish), based on the Florida Keys
- Grassrivers: murky marshland with tangled mangroves, inspired by the Everglades
- Port Gellhorn: a faded coastal town of cheap motels and abandoned malls
- Ambrosia: an inland agricultural region of "American industry and old school values," widely read as inspired by sugarcane country around Clewiston
- Mount Kalaga National Park: wilderness with hunting, fishing, and off-road trails
These are confirmed regions, but they sit outside the city proper. When people ask about "Vice City districts" specifically, the four named neighborhoods (Ocean Beach, Little Cuba, the Tisha-Wocka flea market, and the VC Port) are the firm answer.
What is confirmed vs what is speculation
Here is the clean split as it stands today.
Confirmed by Rockstar (Vice City): Ocean Beach, Little Cuba, Tisha-Wocka flea market, VC Port.
Confirmed by Rockstar (wider Leonida): Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia, Mount Kalaga.
Expected or fan-mapped, not officially named: "Vice Beach" / "South Beach" / "Washington Beach" as distinct labeled districts, a "Little Haiti" neighborhood, a named downtown core, Venetian Islands, Vice Point, and most fine-grained street-level borders drawn by the mapping community. Those community maps are impressively detailed, but they are reconstructions, not Rockstar's word.
The full picture will firm up as Rockstar releases more before the November 19, 2026 launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Until then, anything beyond the named districts above should be read as likely rather than locked.
