GTA Online LS Car Meet Guide: Reputation, Prize Rides, and the Test Track
The LS Car Meet is GTA Online's home for car culture, a free weekly Prize Ride, a Test Track for trying cars before you buy, and a Reputation system that unlocks it all. Here is how to become a member and get the most out of it.

The LS Car Meet is GTA Online's beating heart of car culture, and it is one of the most rewarding free things in the game. It hands out a new car every week, lets you test-drive vehicles before spending a fortune on them, and runs a Reputation system that steadily unlocks perks. Here is how to join and how to actually get value out of it.
Finding it and becoming a member
The LS Car Meet is an underground venue in Cypress Flats, in the southeast of Los Santos. Head to the marked entrance and, at the front desk, buy an LS Car Meet membership for a modest one-time fee. That membership is all you need to walk in, browse, socialize, and start earning Reputation.
The Reputation system
Reputation, or Rep, is the LS Car Meet's progression track, and almost everything good is gated behind it. You earn Rep in two ways:
- Passively, just by spending time inside the car meet.
- Actively, by taking part in its activities: races through the Race Organizer, laps and time trials on the Test Track, Sprints around the city, and the Street Race Series.
As your Rep climbs, you unlock cosmetic rewards like clothing and tattoos, plus access to the meet's deeper features. If you want to level Rep quickly, do it during a week with a Rep multiplier bonus, when every activity pays out extra.
The Prize Ride is the main draw
The single best reason to visit every week is the Prize Ride. Rockstar puts a different vehicle on display inside the meet, and anyone who completes that week's Prize Ride Challenge gets it free.
The challenge changes weekly. Some weeks it is as simple as finishing a race in a certain position, while others ask you to place well in the LS Car Meet Series across several consecutive days. You can check the exact requirement in the interaction menu under Prize Ride Challenge, and once you have met it, you claim the car from the same menu. A free vehicle a week, on top of the daily podium car, is a serious amount of free metal.
The Test Track saves you money
Before you drop a million dollars on a supercar, the Test Track lets you try it. You can test-drive a rotating list of featured vehicles inside the venue, put them through a proper circuit, and see how they actually handle before buying. You can also use it to time-trial cars you already own, or invite friends to run laps together. It is the best way to avoid buyer's remorse, and it pairs perfectly with our best cars for racing guide.
The bottom line
Join the LS Car Meet, make claiming the weekly Prize Ride a habit, and use the Test Track before every big car purchase. Build your Rep during bonus weeks to unlock the cosmetics and features faster. For a small buy-in, it is one of the best sources of free cars and practical car knowledge in the entire game.
