After 15 Years, GTA's Mile High Club Is Finally Finished, and Only in nopixel V
The half-built skyscraper that has loomed over Los Santos since GTA 5's very first trailer in 2011 has finally been completed, as a working hotel and casino built exclusively for Rockstar's official nopixel V roleplay server.

Some GTA jokes run so long they become landmarks. The Mile High Club is the best one. The half-finished skyscraper has stood in downtown Los Santos, wrapped in scaffolding and going nowhere, since the very first GTA 5 reveal trailer in 2011. Fifteen years of players flying past it waiting for something to change. Now something has.
The building is finally done
As part of the reveal of nopixel V, Rockstar's official roleplay server, the Mile High Club has been completed exclusively for nopixel V and turned into a fully functional hotel and casino. The construction site that outlasted an entire console generation is, at last, open for business.
It is hard to overstate how good a piece of fan service this is. The unfinished tower became a running joke, a symbol of GTA Online's frozen-in-amber Los Santos where the world never quite moved on. Finishing it is a statement that this version of the city is allowed to change.
Why a hotel and casino makes sense for roleplay
For a roleplay server, the choice of building is smart. A functioning hotel and casino gives roleplayers something the base map has always been short of: a large, central, socially dense interior with obvious in-fiction jobs attached to it. Front desks, security, dealers, guests, high rollers, and everything that goes wrong around them.
Roleplay lives in places where characters bump into each other. Dropping a landmark venue into the middle of downtown creates a permanent stage in a way another warehouse never could. It also fits with nopixel V's stated push toward new ways for characters to make a living.
A landmark that finally moved
The Mile High Club has been a fixture of GTA lore for so long that its scaffolding is basically part of the skyline. Its completion is the kind of detail that will get clipped, screenshotted, and argued about for weeks, and it signals that nopixel V intends to physically alter Los Santos rather than simply layer systems on top of it.
The bottom line
Fifteen years after it first appeared as a construction site, the Mile High Club is finished, and it took an officially sanctioned roleplay server to do it. It arrives as a working hotel and casino exclusive to nopixel V, whose closed beta begins September 8, 2026.
