San Andreas 100% Completion: The Complete Checklist
The 100% completion flag in San Andreas requires every mission, every collectible, every school. Here's the complete checklist for the most ambitious GTA completion run.

San Andreas's 100% completion flag is the most ambitious in the 3D-era trilogy. The flag requires every story mission, every side mission, every collectible, every vehicle-skill school, plus a handful of stat thresholds. A focused completion run takes 40-60 hours beyond the main campaign. Below: the complete checklist.
Story missions
Required: all main-story missions.
- Approximately 100 main missions across the three acts (Los Santos, San Fierro, Las Venturas) plus the End of Line finale.
- No skipped missions; the flag requires linear progression through the campaign.
Asset properties
Required: all asset properties owned and their associated mission lines completed.
Cash-purchased asset properties:
- Pole Position Club (Washington Beach — wait, that's Vice City. SA's are different)
- Wait, San Andreas's asset properties are: Wang Cars, Burger Shot deliveries, Hippy Shopper, Zero RC, plus the courier missions.
The full asset list is approximately 8 cash-buy and story-acquired asset properties. Each requires its asset-mission line completion.
For the property breakdown, see Every Property Worth Owning in San Andreas.
Vehicle schools
Required: all three vehicle schools at All Bronze minimum, with All Gold preferred for the unique-vehicle rewards:
- Driving School (San Fierro) — 12 challenges
- Pilot School (Verdant Meadows) — 10 challenges
- Bike School (Las Venturas) — 4 challenges
We covered the schools in San Andreas Pilot, Driving and Bike School: The Complete Guide.
Side activities
Required to All Gold (not just Bronze):
- Vigilante missions — police-cruiser-based gang clearing. 12 levels.
- Paramedic missions — ambulance-based, ferry patients to hospital. 12 levels.
- Firefighter missions — fire-truck-based, extinguish vehicle fires. 12 levels.
- Taxi missions — taxi cab, ferry NPCs. 50 fares for completion.
- Pimping missions — Pimp limousine, drive sex workers. 10 levels.
- Stadium events — 8-Track, Blood Bowl, Dirt Track. Each requires Bronze or higher.
Collectibles
Required:
- 50 Snapshots in San Fierro
- 50 Horseshoes scattered around Las Venturas
- 50 Oysters underwater across San Andreas
- 50 Tags in Los Santos — paint over Ballas / Vagos tags with Grove Street paint
Total: 200 collectibles scattered across the map. The most time-consuming completion activity by far.
Girlfriends
Required: maintain dating progress with all 6 girlfriends to 100%. We covered the dating system in San Andreas Girlfriends: All Six, Ranked.
Stadium events
Required: complete 8-Track, Blood Bowl, and Dirt Track at Las Venturas Stadium and the corresponding venues. Each event has multiple difficulty tiers.
Stat thresholds
The completion flag also checks specific stat thresholds:
- All weapon skills at Hitman or higher (some at Pro)
- Lung capacity at maximum
- All vehicle skills at maximum (driving, flying, biking, cycling)
- Cash > $1,000,000
Miscellaneous
A few smaller flags:
- All unique stunts completed (special jumps with specific aerial requirements)
- All gym moves purchased at all three gyms
- All vehicle types driven in some sense (boats, planes, helicopters, motorcycles, bikes, etc.)
What 100% unlocks
The 100% completion reward is:
- Infinite ammo for all weapons (without cheats — clean save)
- Infinite stamina, lung capacity, and health regeneration
- A unique completion screen
- A special jet (Hydra) at Madd Dogg's Mansion (independent of pilot school)
The reward is fundamentally cosmetic — bragging rights, no further story content.
Cheats and 100%
Cheats invalidate the completion flag. The completion-percentage tracker checks for cheat exposure. Save in a free slot before experimenting with cheats; the main 100% save must be cheat-clean.
The Definitive Edition treatment
DE preserves the 100% completion system one-for-one, with achievements added. Several DE-specific bug fixes make 100% slightly easier (notably the territory-war bug that occasionally prevents the flag from triggering).
Time estimate
For a focused completion run with main story already done:
- Schools: 4-6 hours
- Collectibles: 8-12 hours
- Side missions: 6-10 hours
- Girlfriends: 4-6 hours
- Stadium events + remaining: 3-5 hours
Total: 25-40 additional hours beyond a main-story completion. With main story (~30 hours), the full 100% run is 55-70 hours.
Tips
- Start collectibles early — they're the longest activity. Spread them across normal play sessions.
- Pilot School mid-game — the Hydra unlock makes later traversal vastly easier.
- Cap girlfriends on dates that overlap with story missions — saves time.
- The Definitive Edition's bug fixes make 100% more reliable than original PS2.
