GTA Vice City 100% Completion: The Complete Checklist
GTA Vice City 100 percent completion explained: every story mission, all 100 hidden packages, 35 rampages, 36 stunt jumps, assets and side jobs, plus rewards.

Hitting GTA Vice City 100 percent completion in the original 2002 game means clearing far more than the story. The completion counter tracks story missions, every asset property, all 100 hidden packages, 35 rampages, 36 unique stunt jumps, store robberies, and a stack of side jobs. Nothing on this checklist is missable, so you can mop everything up in any order after the credits roll.
What 100% completion in Vice City actually requires
The percentage meter on your stats screen ticks up as you finish each tracked task. To reach 100% completion you need every category below cleared. Here is the master list for the original Vice City:
- All story and asset missions (the campaign plus every property's mission strand)
- All 100 Hidden Packages
- All 35 Rampages
- All 36 Unique Stunt Jumps
- All 15 stores robbed
- All properties and safehouses purchased
- All 4 Sunshine Autos vehicle import lists
- The required vehicle side jobs (Taxi, Paramedic, Firefighter, Vigilante, Pizza Boy)
- The off-road, RC, racing and stadium challenges
You do not have to grind for cash. Asset income plus the hidden-package money funds every purchase you need.
Story missions and the asset properties
Every storyline mission counts, from "In the Beginning..." through the finale "Keep Your Friends Close..." Beyond the main arc, Vice City's asset properties each carry their own mission strand, and those missions are mandatory for the meter.
The asset businesses you must buy and clear are the Pole Position Club, Cherry Popper Ice Cream Factory, Sunshine Autos, Boatyard, Print Works, Kaufman Cabs, InterGlobal Films, and the Malibu Club. Two more properties, the Vercetti Estate and Phil's Place, are handed to you through the story. You also need to own every safehouse: the Ocean View Hotel, El Swanko Casa, 3321 Vice Point, Links View Apartment, Ocean Heights Apartment, the Hyman Condo, and Skumole Shack. Read the full breakdown of what each business earns in our Vice City property empire guide.
The Sunshine Autos import garage adds four vehicle lists. Deliver every car on all four lists to clear that requirement (and the garage starts spawning the listed cars for free once a list is done).
All 100 Hidden Packages in Vice City
The 100 Hidden Packages are glowing collectibles scattered across both islands. Each one pays $100, and every tenth package unlocks a permanent weapon or item spawn at your three main safehouses (Ocean View Hotel, the Vercetti Estate, and the Hyman Condo).
The rewards escalate as you collect:
- Body armor, melee and small arms appear at the lower tiers
- Heavier weapons stock up through the middle tiers
- The top tiers unlock military hardware spawns, including the Sea Sparrow, Rhino tank, and the Hunter attack helicopter
Collecting the final package pays a $100,000 bonus on top of the per-package cash, so all 100 packages return $110,000 in total. Grab a fast bike and a printed map; the packages are static, so a methodical island-by-island sweep clears them fast.
Rampages, stunt jumps and store robberies
Three combat and driving categories round out the collectible grind.
- Rampages: There are 35 Rampages, marked by a floating skull icon. Each one hands you a weapon and a strict time limit to rack up a target number of kills or vehicle destructions. Stand your ground, line up targets before the clock starts, and reload between waves.
- Unique Stunt Jumps: Vice City hides 36 Unique Stunt Jumps. Hit each ramp with enough speed and the right angle to clear the gap; the game logs it the moment you land cleanly. A PCJ-600 or Sanchez handles most of them.
- Store robberies: 15 stores can be held up across the map. Aim a weapon at the shopkeeper, wait for the register to empty, and leave before the cops pile on. Robbing all 15 is a hard requirement.
The side jobs you must complete
Five vehicle side jobs are mandatory, and each pays a permanent buff along the way. Start any of them by entering the right vehicle and pressing the sub-mission button.
- Taxi Driver: Complete 100 fares. The payoff is a boost jump on every taxi you drive (hop the cab with a button press).
- Paramedic: Reach Level 12 in an Ambulance. The reward is infinite sprint.
- Firefighter: Reach Level 12 in a Fire Truck. The reward makes Tommy fireproof.
- Vigilante: Reach Level 12 in any police vehicle. This raises maximum armor to 150.
- Pizza Boy: Reach Level 10 on the Pizza Boy delivery run. This raises Tommy's maximum health to 150.
All five vehicle jobs above count toward the completion meter.
Stadium, street, off-road and RC challenges
The final cluster of requirements is the arcade-style challenge set.
- Hyman Memorial Stadium: Win all three events: the Hotring, the Bloodring, and the Dirtring (the event rotates by in-game day).
- Street races: Win all 6 street races in the racing series.
- Off-road missions: Clear all four: Cone Crazy (a cone-dodging test in a parking garage), the PCJ Playground checkpoint run on a bike, Test Track (two dirt-track laps in a Landstalker), and Trial by Dirt (two dirt-track laps on a Sanchez).
- RC challenges: Finish the radio-controlled trials: RC Bandit, RC Baron Race, and RC Raider Pickup.
- Chopper checkpoints: Complete the 4 chopper checkpoint flying courses to prove your aviation skills.
For codes that make this cleanup faster (spawning bikes, tanks or weapons on demand), see the Vice City cheats list. Just remember cheats can block some saves, so use a separate file.
What 100% completion unlocks in Vice City
Cross the finish line and Vice City hands Tommy a set of permanent perks:
- Maximum health and armor both raised to 200
- Infinite ammunition for every weapon
- Three hireable bodyguards at the Vercetti Estate, recruited for $2,000 each, who follow you and fight at your side
- Double vehicle health, so any car Tommy drives soaks far more damage
- The "Frankie" outfit, a joke t-shirt reading "I completed Vice City and all I got was this lousy t-shirt," waiting in the Vercetti Estate wardrobe
Because nothing is missable, the cleanest route to how to get 100% in Vice City is simple: finish the campaign, buy every property, then work through the collectibles and side jobs island by island. Browse our Vice City screenshots gallery while you plan the run.
