GTA IV Infernus — heavier, more analog, still iconic.
The Infernus is a supercar that was first introduced in GTA III and has appeared in every GTA title since (except ) and has gained a reputation for being one of the oldest sports cars to still be in a vast number of GTA titles. It is manufactured by Pegassi in the .
The Infernus has moved between various visual influences between every title the vehicle has appeared in, but typically stays within the realm of an Italian supercar. *In Grand Theft Auto III and GTA: Liberty City Stories, Infernus is a mix of both the Lamborghini Diablo, as seen in the side profile and rear fascia, and the Vector M12, with other influences from the Ferrari F50 and the Jaguar XJ220. *In GTA: Vice City and GTA: Vice City Stories, the Infernus heavily resembles the Lamborghini Countach, with the Countach's signature profile and some additional elements taken from the Ferrari F40, Chevrolet Corvette (C4), and Ford GT40. *In GTA: San Andreas, the Infernus strikingly resembles the first generation Honda NSX, with some elements resembling those from the BMW 8 Series (E31). The front bumper is taken from the Nissan 300ZX (Z32).
The Infernus' HD Universe rendition is largely based on the first-generation Lamborghini Murciélago, more specifically the Murciélago LP 640, as evidenced by the side vents and front bumper, while the rear fascia and venting are taken from early models of the Pagani Zonda, with a tail light placement closer to the Spyker C8. The spoiler that comes as an extra, as well as the roof vent seem to be based on the 2007 Hamann Murciélago LP640 Bodykit. The rims on the GTA V rendition of the Infernus match the rims used on the Lamborghini Reventón, a limited production car based on the Murciélago.
